    GM has the worst mileage until empty estimation of any vehicle brand I have ever driven. Even steady state driving down the highway it cannot seem to get it right.

    Probably calibrated for different regions. Best to not chance it. Might shear off of the drive shaft on the pump or something. Very sensitive ECM circuits.

    We have a high milage Hyundai Elantra 1.8L in the stable. The oil doesn’t really seem to get dark or stinky quickly but we do seasonal changes with store brands due to short trips. Currently using Supetech 5w-30 full synthetic.

    Mine does too. And my brain says 0w-16 and 0w-20 substantially overlap on the J300 chart so I doubt the engine would show any noticeable difference.

    Yeah, I have a maintenance app on my phone that allows pics. I take pics of on line orders all the time. Though I do openly use 0w-20 on the Toyota which calls for 0w-16. I don’t think it matters that much.
