In my opinion its better to buy a good oil with the specs your engine require. Why would a additive make a good oil better than the engineers and chemists at a well known oil refinery made it ?

The big issue with Mannol is that you dont know whats in the jug. When they lied about approvals what makes me then belive what API/ACEA standards and viscosity i buy in the jug of Mannol ? Better stay to manufacturs that really have an approval.

Yes thats true if you can confirm the approval to be legit. Mannol has been claim for approvals they dont have like Dexos 1 for an example.

Yes I know Shell is the owner of the brands. What i see is that Pennzoil has so many more options that is Dexos licensed and also QS a desent oil for the money. I would buy QS and change it more frequently than a expensive top brand oil It for sure will work to usa a MB classified oil in a VAG...

Got the oil delivered today. But i was reading the dexos spec to fast this 0w20 is not dexos licensed its the 5w20 that has dexos1 gen2 classification. To bad that we dont have Quaker State and Pennzoil distributors here in Europe. But i still think this Helix Ultra SP 0w20 is good to run.
