    .30-06 Ammo From The CMP

I just got back from the range and capped off 4 boxes of this stuff. Man, it's nice to shoot a round with some authority after all of the .223 I've been shooting lately! Even the wife enjoyed the increased power level. Anyway, this stuff is very accurate in all of my bolt guns. The Weatherby was...

This is what you get from the CMP. 1,440 Rounds of .30-06 M-2 Ball 150 Gr. Ammo. All of it is clean, well packaged, and nice and shiny. I'll report on it's accuracy later, when I get a chance to do some testing. So far, so good. Excellent price on this stuff. It comes out to $5.29 @ box of 20...

    Good reading on cleaning

I purchased a Ultrasonic Cleaner for the main purpose of cleaning AR-15 bolt / carrier assemblies. It works beautifully. After a couple of 8 minute cycles the entire assembly is all but spotless. I use water with some dish washing detergent added. My unit has heat, but I still heat the water in...

    Corrosion X

http://www.thegunzone.com/rust.html Interesting results. WD-40 scored better than I thought it would have. I buy it buy the gallon and use it for a solvent for wet cleaning firearms. Afterward I blow dry with compressed air, then lubricate. I used to use Kerosene, but since the rise in oil...

    Best AR-15 Lube?

I've been lubricating all of my firearms with Mobil 1 20W-50 for quite some time now with very good results. Lately I've been thinking if there was something better for my AR-15's? I don't use CLP of any kind on any firearm. I've found any product that does a lot of things at once, (Cleans...

    I installed AutoRx today!!

I just switched out the Amsoil 0W30 last week for some Amsoil Euro 5W40. The previous oil was the real rinse cycle, because it had gotten very dirty over it's life, more dirty than usual, even though I did run a rinse cycle after the initial ARX install. This new oil is now a week old and it's...

    Decided to try Tufoil.....

I haven't posted here in a long time (deployed). I used Tufoil for around seven years with great results. Those results being improved gas mileage, quieter engine noise, smoother running engine, quicker throttle response, etc. I spoke of these things last winter here, and was kicked in the...

    Oil Question

You could check with Chevron Canada to see if their retail lubricants are available in Alberta, they are in BC so if you're close to that border you can buy them in any station, if not you could contact a station in BC and they will bus them to you.
