    BITOG forumites: *thumbs down*

BITOG is the very best site I've seen for all things automotive fluid. Lots of very good information here. Probably more here than anywhere else. As good as this site is, I must say that BITOG forumites are the very worst lot of internet people that I've ever encountered. BITOG forumites make...

    Mobil 1 History ?

Mobil 1 always does whatever Amsoil is doing. 100% copycat. That's why I've often wondered if Amsoil is secretly owned by Mobil and is used as a test bed for motor oil innovations. But then Amsoil copycatted the military aviation synthetic oils of the 60's. I work on F/A-18 fighter jets...

I'm going to try out Enviromax Plus fuel catalyst.

You use 0.5 oz for 20 gallons of fuel. They claim you will see efficiency increase from 8% to 30%. I've seen this product on the news before. BITOG search yielded no results or this product. Here's an older video, but still relevant. http://www.icareaboutit.com/assets/flash/enviromax/index.html?high

    RP gun oil

Wasn't there another "Purple" motor oil back in the 60's and 70's that was garbage. Royal Triton I believe it was called. It was on the market about the same time that ARCO Graphite was selling. Both were garbage. Bill T.

    "Jig-A-Loo"

This stuff is advertised in a lot of gun magazines. Has anyone tried it? It looks to be a type of WD-40 knock off. I just wondered if anyone has had any experience with it, or knew what was in it? Bill T.

cd-2 oil treatment mixed with mobil one oil

Another good trick you can use STP for is shooting high velocity ammunition in a target semi auto like a Colt Gold Cup. Liberally coat the slide rails with it, and it will reduce the slide velocity enough so the gun won't take such a beating. If you use too much it can actually cause the gun to...

cd-2 oil treatment mixed with mobil one oil

On semi autos I have always gaged the amount of lubrication as being sufficient when I see oil oozing out from between the slide and frame rails. When it stops, I simply add a few more drops. I always keep lubrication in my range bag or cart. Bill T.
