Husqvarna riding mower, 23hp briggs, 2 qts comp cams break in oil and supertech filter. Top off with atf or whatever i grab. Oil gets changed every fall and fuel filter in the spring.

I was interested in the maximum power 0w30 pennzoil for a 2016 impala 3.6. I notice it doesnt carry dexos1 gen2 approval but could i use this safely? What does dexos offer that sn+ doesnt have?

How is your oil pressure? I have a 2004 6.0 swapped into a half ton. I have about 30-35 on a cold start idle, 18-20 warm idle and around 30-35 warm at highway speeds. I use 0w40 castrol currently. I get 12-15 warm idle on 10w30 pup.

I changed the oil around 206k when i got it a few months ago with castrol 0w40. It now has almost 209k. I plan to keep it a year or so at least i dont have but around 1200 dollars in the car. The engine clearly has some carbon buildup and probably starting to sludge as well.

Is there any good filters besides the mb fleece filters? I am looking at mobil 1 in particular. Also how are premium guard filters?

I aquired a mb ml320 for a winter beater. I did a oc first thing but im pretty sure previous care was minimum. Would it be worth doing a short interval at first to help clean it up a bit?
