    Oil for 2004 GM 4.8 LR4 LS

Bought a 2004 Silverado Z71 with the 4.8 and 118k miles on it last year. I've changed the oil and filter three since then, and only put 1k on each oil change, just because the oil change history is unknown to me. First time was Valvoline synpower (had on hand), next time was M1 5w-30 again had...

Thanks for the info. I'm going off what my blue driver is reporting to me.

    04 Silverado code c0267

I'm currently getting code C0267 low brake fluid detected. I don't have a low fluid sensor installed through the master cylinder reservoir. Has anybody seen this before? I have cleared the code and it keeps coming back immediately. I performed a brake fluid flush after the code started to appear...

    New Push mower

I can't say enough good things about my troy bilt with a Honda gcv 160 engine. Always starts first pull with the auto choke. Going on 8 years now.

    About mower blades....

I recently went through buying a new blade. Like others said, new blade didn't appear sharp but cut fantastic. Lesson learned for when it does need sharpened.

Who had great success reaching high mileages with recommended (extended) service intervals?

I think you could get away with that in the older vehicles, I'm guessing pre 2012-2013. I don't think that would fly with GDI engines today.

    New Echo es 400 chainsaw.

That's good to hear! I sort of regret passing on echo for a chainsaw. I went with a Husqvarna 435. I have an echo blower I bought last year and it starts 1-2 pulls every time.

    Lawn Mower Air filters

Well to be fair they aren't exposed to the dust and dirt of a push lawn mower.

Ford and Castrol co-engineer new advanced lubricants -F&L Daily

"Castrol’s DUALOCK molecules cling to critical engine parts and lock together, forming a powerful force field of protection that dramatically reduces both warm-up and stop-start wear by up to 50%." So they're even more intelligent? 🤣🤣🤣

Bought the new 20,000 mile Supertech 0w20

If Costco picks this up, it's a game changer depending on the price it comes in at.

    New Husqvarna 525L trimmer

I kinda wish I would have looked at the Echo trimmers before I bought my Husqvarna. I have an echo blower I bought previously. Three primer pumps, one pull choke one and one pull choke off and it's running. My Husqvarna had instructions printed on the plastic housing. Ten primer bulb pumps, 3...

Post your latest small engine oil change

That or you can get a siphon hose. Either way works.

    New Husqvarna 525L trimmer

I bought a 128LD a few weeks ago, completely happy with it. It was either that or an Echo.

Wish one of the 4 CQs I went to would have done that for me.

    Conventional Gone

I don't know why anybody would run conventional when synthetics are as cheap as they are. Even without a Costco membership for their ultra cheap Kirkland, ST used to be like $14 for 5 qts synthetic.
