Went to lowes and picked up a Husqvarna 435e chainsaw and a case, Husqvarna 128LD trimmer and 2 gallons of Husqvarna fuel. Had to buy the fuel so I could register them and get an extra 3 years on the warranties. Anybody have experience with these? Both fired up 2 pulls each today.

When I bought my 04 silverado with 118k, I put mobil 1 75w-90 in the rear and valvoline 80w-90 in the front. If I had to do it again I'd put supertech in it for half the cost.

Dude they way some of the guys talk on here, I thought I was young here at 33 reading about oil. Appreciate the time you have when you're young, before you know it you'll end up like me married with a 1.5 year old. Had to edit I'm 33 now, you get so old you forget you just had a birthday 🤣

You have a drain plug, a fill plug and a fluid level check plug. It's very easy. Good rule of thumb is put back in the same amount as you took out.

Our DD vehicles each drain a gallon... $18 a gallon of maxlife at walmart. Definitely not paying anyone to do that.

I have a similar issue with my 04 Silverado with the 4.8. I believe it's the oil pan, but just a super slow leak... just enough to form on the bottom of the pan, but never drip on the ground. I have it filled with supertech syn 5-30 HM now just to try.

Seeing as you're in canada I'm going out on a limb and saying it's a combination of gunk from driving and rust from the filter. Maybe there was bare metal exposed? What does the underside of the filter housing look like?

I do 5k on my Malibu and the wife's Trax. We drive almost all highway but with both being turbo GDI I'm playing it safe. My 04 silverado doesn't get driven all that much, so it's been changed a few times over 2-3k miles. I bought it used so I'm babying it a bit, trying different oils and filters.

I've had good luck with the LED light fixtures from Sam's club. A few black Fridays ago I picked up a pair of them for 40 bucks and free shipping. Hung those in my garage over the vehicles and added another one to hang over my work bench, they work great.

Man I would love to have a shop like that.
