Anything to get you away from the DCT auto they use.... lol. My friend has the DCT in her 14 Focus and it's terrible. The dealer can't seem to straighten it out. I say, go for it.

Did you replace the white plastic tower that holds the coil packs? Also, sometimes aftermarket fuel pumps bleed down quickly and cause a long crank. You may want to hook up a fuel pressure gauge and verify it holds fuel pressure longer than 5 minutes.

Most favorite oil is PU. Filters I'm not totally sure yet. Currently running a Fram Ultra for the first time since the P1 I removed had a tear.

"Compression spring loaded nylon poppet valve" isnt that a Fram thing? I did have a AC Delco branded Fram come into work last week.

I used the Pennzoil Dexos blend all last year in my Grand Prix. It seems to clean better than PYB in that engine. The burn oil on the oil stick is gone. Currently running the QS Dexos in that car because they didn't have any Pennzoil Dexos blend when I went to buy it that day.

Terrible....

Just open all 4 bleeders with a container on all 4 corners to catch the drips. Continually monitor the master cylinder such that it does NOT go empty. And do not touch the brake pedal until all 4 bleeders are closed and you are done!! You will not have a problem.
