Another member posted that it is also a problem with Ford 6.0 and 6.4 Diesel engines. Apparently, it is documented on the computers at Ford dealers. I've asked for a more complete description of the problem.

I started a thread about it last week, but a tech at a local oil change place (Kwik Kar) told a customer that he didn't recommend Pennzoil because "it has wax in it". I service my own vehicles, but this was a fleet car and they paid for the oil change.

I'm hoping that it will be on sale for a good price soon enough. I'm willing to see how it holds up to fuel dilution in my DISI MazdaSpeed 6.

I can see all the import haters using this recall to say how Toyota quality isn't that good. They even blame the media for not covering it enough as part of the grand scheme to go against American car makers.

I bought a digital charger from Sears last year. It is microprocessor controlled, has variable charge rates and handles all battery types including the AGM ones. I think it was $80 or so, but it was worth it so far.
