Total Quartz at my local AAP (pics)

It's well known here, medium quality fake synthethic. It's curious see it there. Anyway 41-46$... it's 26-29€ the same here and 5L (not 5qt 4,7L).

Redline MTL 75w80- Ferrari Mondial QV gearbox improvement

It's a TOP oil. Other question is about internals wear because lower visco, in other hand RL keeps visco better than other thick oils.

Can I use SAE 80 gear lube in a Landrover GearBox/Diff?

MTF94 is 75w80 GL4. If your 80w is GL4 then you can use where MTF94 is indicated (R380 gearbox). If you have transfer and rear diff usually it requires GL5, check manual.

    Castrol Edge Euro 0W-40 A3/B4 - 3,826 Miles - 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX EJ255

Nice comparison and results, 7-9% difference for ZDDP is not very relevant but visco 12,06 vs 12,7 yes... Anyway so good results and good oil.

    Honda MTF oil

Pentosin FFL-4 GL5 is not Honda spec. You must use 75w or 75w80 GL4. Examples: Redline MT-LV 70w (strong additive), GM 1940004 93165694 75w, Castrol BOT 303 75w, Castrol Syntrans B 75w (different chemical to Honda and Castrol BOT 303 but compatible), Ford 75w FE M2C200-D2, Volvo 31280771...

    M1 POA irresitible ?

Nop, but it has so strong formulation and wear performance after used like previous Visom and PAO versions. So it's a good 0w40.

Acea A3/B4 5W-30 recommendation for cold weather (-5 degrees Farenheit)

Well C3 vs B4 is little hard. Sometimes C3 oils has better base oil than B4. Usually +-150ppm P or Zn has not real impact on wear, but oil life yes, C3 is lower. So you can use very good C3 oil like Castrol 0w30 C3 vs same B4 if you adjust oil interval.

Bad Battery or is this normal reading?

Not terrible, but I wouldn't use it if car stopped over 10 days. If you can disconnect (-) then not problem 10-15 days. It would be normal with little consumption (30 mA), so battery is not perfect.

Safe to switch from SAE 80 to 75W-80?

Well interesting. From my data it's not Syntrans, it's Castrol 75w85 for GM family (high quality group III) true GL4 (Castrol BOT 402, Opel 93165290, Saab MTF063 etc). Good move.

Safe to switch from SAE 80 to 75W-80?

Yes you can use it. Total 75w80 usually are strong GL4, near or really unmarked GL4+ so protection should be good. You can check Opel/GM and Fiat oils, here are 75w85 GL4 (GM 93165290 and Tutela Matrix).

Oem specified manual transmission oil superseded - Renault Elf NFJ 75W-80

Don't worry about additives, as said it's very similar to NFJ, little changes. Other Elf had moly too. It's 75w so thinner, NFJ was more complex formulation with group II/III + little PAO, NFX is mainly group II/II+. I'd use NFX with no problem. If you want other, closer to NFJ is Total 75w80...

Oem specified manual transmission oil superseded - Renault Elf NFJ 75W-80

I'd buy NFJ but you won't have issues with NFX. It's more like NFJ than NFP, less phosphorus and more molybdenum, thinner but real working conditions will be similar.

Help with oil choice; Motul vs Repsol (10w40)

Both will work perfect, so you can use the cheapest. For more info, technical data is not very real. Both are semi-syn. Motul group I/II + III or III. Repsol real data from Renault papers shows: HTHS 3.7 Noack 8.9 Ash 1.1 PP -39 100% group III.

Made the "switch" from M1 to Valvoline Synthetics

Well seen. Yeah it seems GL5. Valvoline is very clear do not use GL5 LS in MT --> Link

Made the "switch" from M1 to Valvoline Synthetics

I like Valvoline and I usually use it even if here it's not so famous. Price/quality sometimes is really good (performance, base oil quality, price etc). Anyway M1 is different pov, it's one of bosses, Valvoline buy from bosses.

New to me Porsche UOA - what oil is this?

Additive seems M1 FS 0w40. Shear is high but not problem as always with FS GTL, usually it shears to 10+ not 9+.
