How Often Do You Replace Plugs?

Be careful using a wire wheel on your plugs. When I raced go karts I was always checking the plugs to adjust the carb and a few times took a wire wheel to a plug and when I checked it the spark would be all over the plug not straight to the ground. Who knows I may have been too rough with the wheel.

Formula Mazda (13b rotary engine) oil

Does it use a seperate resevoir for the oil injection? Does it use premix in the fuel? If so I would use a syn in the engine. 6800 seems low for a rotary. Are these like the cars in the star mazda series?

    Mechanics Stethoscope

When my dad was a service manager at Datsun he said he used to walk around with one around his neck like a doctor. Customers would laugh at him until he found their problem with it.

    Subaru BRZ

I was excited when I heard about the new subaru. When I saw the final product I was very dissapointed. It just looks like it had some nice fender flares then was slammed through a alley that was too narrow. I hope an sti model will look better because it is such a great idea. I would still take...

    Any NSX owners?

I cant think of one car made today (in this price range) that I would want to trade my Sti for. But I would trade for a clean NSX in a heartbeat. I would love to have a true sports car like that. I would rather have a well balanced chassis and superb engine (with reliability)than just a brute of...

Under the valve cover: '95 Accord EX, 181k miles

I recently sold an 94 accord I had as a commuter with just over 300k and it looked pretty much identical to yours with only cheap conventional oils. Its hard to kill those engines. Here is something you may find helpful and a common issue with the f22.

Reminded why I don't shop at AutoZone anymore.

The employees at my local AutoZone, Advance and Oreillys are like angels compared to the people at Napa. There are three Napa stores within driving distance and I have tried them all and left disgusted every time.

    New project, true 'barn find'

We have one like that we restored. It still has the exhaust pipe you run outside the house. It is a hit and miss engine and the more pressure you put on the flywheel the faster it will run, its neat.

    Human VTEC

The last one he does sound a lot like a turbo 2jz with an aftermarket exhaust and an hks ssqv blow off valve.

    Rolling Big Power

I tried it and still have some to use. Cant really tell any difference. Honestly I cant tell any difference with any of the additives I have tried.

    Weird Spoilers Part 2

Yea and i bet those hood vents are place directly above each turbo. You cant stress heat dissipation enough on a race van.

    Weird Spoilers Part 2

Maybe they use that Chevy van in the Pikes Peak hillclimb. Those hillclimb cars always have spoilers all over the place.

    Royal Purple 0W40 SM VOA

I was thinking about trying either this or M1 0w40 in the Subaru but based just on these numbers the M1 looks much better. Does RP use a lot of organic additives that dont show up? BTW thanks for all these VOAs.

The only difference I could feel is just a harder pedal. I used the Goodridge lines on my car.

Is the worry about HDEO and cats even really an issue if your engine doesn't consume oil?

    Hand crushers

What I dont like are the ones that think they have to continue holding your hand for the entire conversation. Just let go already, one shake is good enough.
