    Valentines Day

I will admit it is a way for businesses to make money. I also enjoy the gift giving aspect though. I always look forward to my girls reaction to what I have written in her card the same as she does mine. I dont see why people have to get all bitter over it. We just enjoy giving eachother gifts...

    any inline 6 battle stories?

I loved the L series engine in my datsun. It loved to rev with higher compression and some better breathing. Made plenty of torque as well. I once read many years ago that Nissan bought the rights to the design of the L series engine from Mercedes. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?

    Pirelli P Zero Nero?

When I bought my Subaru these tires were on it. They seemed good in the wet and dry but with only about 30% left I cant really give an accurate review.

What additive for Direct InjectionI engines?

If you are trying to reduce intake valve deposits andything added to the fuel will not help as the fuel is injected directly to the combustion chamber not via the intake valve. The only remedy I could see for troublesome intake deposits would be the addition of a catch can. I would assume a...

    Sears oil selection!

My local Sears is exactly the same. The VWB is so old the bottles have yellowed. They should at least dust the oil aisle.

    2 PureOne's Cut Open

I had a 94 Accord with the f22 engine and always used the same filter as you use on her car . I cut three in a row open and every time it had the same torn pleat as yours. I stopped using them.I wish I had a pic so people would actually believe me.

    Pulled Motor = Cracked Intercooler

I would bring the overspray to their attention for sure. It may only take some light compounding to remove.

    Pulled Motor = Cracked Intercooler

I would never try to pull it with the intercooler in. There is the dogbone mount under it as well as a few harness connectors from the trans. Its just so easy to get the intercooler off why even leave it in and try to work around it.Its obvious it has been removed and some moron used the wrong...

wrong valve timing from the factory?

Any time you set the timing on any engine once it has been rotated the timing will be right but the marks wont line back up again until several rotations later. Think about how far the chain has to rotate versus how little the cam gears do in comparison.

Good lord! these people are killing me

I once came across a car wedged in a ditch several feet off the road in the early hours of the morning. I didnt have any chains or anything to pull the car out with but saw a woman acting frantic and stopped to see if everything was ok. Turns out she was just a worthless drunk that had wrecked...
