I am in the second gen 4Runner group on the facetoobs, since I have one myself, and the asking prices are insane right now. I've considered just throwing it up for sale to see what happens. Excpet for some rust around the rear wheel wells, its very clean. Frame is excellent.

I do this on my F150 Ecoboost but the faster crank happens at like 2-3 seconds. I assummed that was when the oil had made it to all the various locations but I supposed maybe it could be a cam phaser thing as well.

Im on the fence on the 3.0 dmax. On paper the engine is exceptional but I have been part of the Silverado/Sierra 1500 Duramax group on FB for probably close to 2 years now and they are definitely not trouble free.

I think its good oil and you should get it if you are in need of oil right away, however, you can get the brand name oils for cheaper with rebates.

I have always heard good reports from people with first gen Titans. The one issue is I believe the rear diff may have been a weak point. I do think the Tundra 5.7L will outperform the 5.6L though. If you plan on using it to tow or anything, this may be a consideration. 64 hp difference is not...

Are you referring to the 2001 F150 in your sig? Although, if i had to pick between a 2014 F150 5.0 and a 2014 Tundra I would pick the tundra.
