"This Stuff" could be one of the several motor oils they make, one of the several oil additives they make, the engine flush, or one of the many other products. Are you referring to their motor oil? If so, which one(s)?

Pep Boys still has AP. More pricey than EP. However, I'm looking for technical differences (or confirmation that they're insignificant). I'm quite aware of the AP availability issues.

2 x Microgreen 300-6. Works great as an oversized filter for a Generation 1 Chevy Volt. Since I change oil every 2 years whether I need it or not in that car, and I just changed it, I'll be shopping for filters again in 2026. There's a good chance I won't have the car in 6 years.

Have paper and PDF owner's manual. The 2015 OLM enforces the 2 year limit - it won't let you go past 2 years. This is new compared to earlier models.

According to GM, as long as it's Dexos 1, it's OK to follow the OLM.

I did indeed reset the OLM. When I contacted Mobil 1, their script reader was adamant that 1 year was the limit. GM's script reader was equally adamant about trusting the OLM.

The Mrs. And I have a Chevy Bolt and a Chevy Volt. Both are AGM batteries, and neither is used to turn an engine over - they just need enough power to boot the computer that engages the high-voltage to 12V inverter. The Volt has an engine but its battery is in the trunk. The Bolt's battery is up...

I get the reasonably priced ones on Amazon. I buy enough at a time to get them shipped for free. But, most importantly, I replace them myself so I don't get totally ripped off by a dealer on the replacement labor!
