Forgot to ask, is the 15/40 Rotella a dino oil & is it heavier than the 5/40 Rotella synthetic? I'm interested int he syntheric, but am a little worried about a leak developing somewhere. Motor doesn't leak a drop now, but sure don't want it to start.

Sounds good but I read in another post that a racer had Penn oil tested & it had sodium in it?? I run Delo in my 02 Cummimns & I felt quite a differnce when an oil change guy put in Castrol instead. Seemed to run smoother with Delo.

I'm concerned about lack of zinc in oil for my 70 Challenger w/ a 500 HP 426 Hemi. ITs got a flat tappet cam w/ Hydraulic lifters. I'm using Valvoline 10/40 now. Should I switch to Delo or Rotella T to get more zinc? WIll bearing clearances be an issue when changing from 10/40 to 5 or 15/40?? I...

Yes, I forgot to mention the flat tappet Comp cam & Landy rockers. I heard Valvoline racing oil contains zinc, but can't find it in 40 wt. Is regular Valvoline a good choice? Castrol GTX? Is Amsol a synthetic?
