Any Volvo Turbo Owners out there?

I honestly can't tell the difference when running 87 or 91 in my V70 GLT. My boss used nothing but 87 in his C70 HPT and that car scooted around fairly quickly.

Car lost power after distributor replacement?

Thanks for all of the replies. I feel sorta dumb, but my buddy suggested that perhaps my ancient timing light tool was the issue. He brought out his Mac Tools timing light and problem solved. Guess it's time to retire my old timing light

Car lost power after distributor replacement?

The ignition distributor in my 90 civic bleeped out on me the other day, so I swapped in a new one and set the timing to factory specifications using the directions on alldatapro.com. Now it feels sluggish while driving. I can put the accelerator to the floor and it won't do much of anything for...

    Remember about cheap HDMI cables...

I also have a large stash of the cheapy HDMI cables that work fine for all my applications. I had to scold my dad when I found out he paid $99 for the monster cable.

    Kindle electronic books=gas grill=fake.

I've found myself reading more paperbacks versus books on my Kindle. It is nice to be able to get a lot of the classics for free in only seconds on my Kindle. Downside though is sometimes sentences and even paragraphs are lost in the conversion to e-book.

Can Engine Run Well w/o SC Engaged?

SC rebuild could be anywhere from $300-$1500. I was quoted about $700 to have the nose rebuilt (this included shipping both ways).

fresh oil change on VW, now tons of smoke

As mentioned in the last line of my initial post, the car is NOT mine. Was playing poker with some friends of a coworker and one of them told me the scenario and had me look at his VW to see if I had any ideas what happened. Thought I'd post up on here to see what ya'all think.
