    2022 Blazer review - rental

Thanks for the review! I agree with your comments on National. They do seem to generally have a nicer and newer fleet. I think the blazer is pretty different from the grand...I'd say the grand is more of a real SUV given its towing and off-road ability (low range).

Man forced to ditch $115K Ford EV truck during family road trip to Chicago: ‘biggest scam of modern times’

Just proof that an EV doesn't have the same convience as ICE for a long trip, until they can be refueled in the same amount of time and same range as ICE I have no interest and they are a huge step back. Yes - I know Tesla people have it a bit better than others, but let me know when Tesla makes...

    2024 Landcruiser

Having lots of experience off road with both, I definitely prefer a solid front axle. My JLU handles just fine on road (no one is going to autocross this or a Wrangler, buy a BMW for that!), but off road is so much better. Much more stable and planted feeling. When you mix IFS with a solid rear...

Tires for 2019 Jeep Cherokee limited tire replacement

On my 15 Cherokee Limited I did the Yokohama Geolander G015s up a size from stock. Looked great and rode much better than the stock Conti's. Was a beast in the snow too. Technically an all terrain, but it was basically an aggressive all season tire. Very quiet on the road.

    2024 Landcruiser

It would've been better with solid axles but at least the Wrangler gets to remain the off road king! Nice vehicle, although I'm not sure what will differentiate it from the 4runner and make it worth the price difference.

    2020 BMW X3 2.0 oil recommendation?

Just got a new (to us) 2020 BMW X3 2.0, first BMW we've had. What oil is the best for it? Looks like anything that meets LL01 and 0W20, but I did some research and those two seemed to conflict. What does everyone here recommend? Thanks!

2007 Jeep Wrangler reliability vs TJ

The 4.0 will drive better than the 3.8 in my opinion and is probably a bit more durable, but the 3.8 can be long lived and handle some abuse. Not a huge fan of the 42RLE trans. I'd look at a 12+ to get the 3.6 personally. I love the 3.6 in my JLU.

    International Auto Show

Usually go to the Minneapolis Autoshow but the past few years it's been outside and not very good. Now it's back to normal, but it's not till April. Love seeing the camp Jeep course. Went to the Chicago one this year and was a disappointed - not significantly bigger than the Minneapolis one but...

Getting a car they way you want it is normal!

My LR3 and Disco are basically stock other than some all terrains on the LR3. The Jeeps are a little modded: Liberty: Its mods: OME lift, Rock Lizard Super Skink rock sliders, Mopar skid plates, Detours Backbone, Warn M8000, MOAB wheels, 31" Toyo Open Country AT3s The Wrangler: Its mods...

    DeWalt - rip off

That's why I got Dewalt stuff in the first place, the core stuff (drill/driver/impacts) is USA made and at least they're American owned. This is my first Dewalt I've ever had issues with.

    DeWalt - rip off

I ended it up sending it in, I feel like it's 50/50 on if it'll be free or not. I looked around and thought if I could get the same drill with an extra battery or two for like $150 I'd be better off just getting a new one, but couldn't find any great deals now. I think that's because they don't...

    DeWalt - rip off

Probably is the same thing. I bought DeWalt because this drill was USA made but I'm sure that's just USA assembled.

    DeWalt - rip off

I saw that, but wasn't sure of the quality of it. I saw it from other parts places for $90 so the same as sending it in.

    DeWalt - rip off

I have a DeWalt DCD791 drill that the clutch went bad in - in second speed, the clutch has no resistance and it just grinds. Very light use - it honestly goes a few months without being used. I bought it in October of 2020 - it has a 3 year warranty so I thought it would be good to go. I called...
