I would stay with Valvoline EP 0w-20 it's a excellent oil & use a good filter, change out around five thousand mile intervals and keep your fuel/injectors clean.

8.0 on the 0w-20 is the current spec at 100c is what I am seeing ?

they may be referring to the reversibility of the grease??,making a aluminum complex grease does take a bit longer to manufacture am told. not sure of the time factor of the blending/heating and cooling process.may vary from the manufacturing/brand

Royal Purple hps 5w-30 may be a good choice.

most any name brand like Valvoline EP,Castrol edge,or Pennzoil ultra 5w-30 would work fine or even Amsoil ss if wanting to extend out a bit your oci. there is nothing special about Mobil 1 though its a good oil.

generally, what I do is warm the engine up to operating temp, then let the car sit for a hour or so, then use the extractor then as letting the oil or as much as possible settle down to the sump it will still be warm,. Oil no matter what the viscosity is more resistant to flow when cold.

seems like HPL or Amsoil and others also has a better product than Mobil 1 you are talking about, and there is lots of evidence on their product on this site ,,,read and learn about you think you are talking about, and of course the purchase price along with application can be considered...

better base oil and additive package, better proven in real life, and I will not argue this with you, do your research.

cleaning the zerk and use proper amount of grease is a must, and 3% moly is fine to use in u-joints, (I have never seen a problem of this) use of a non moly grease is also perfectly fine, make sure to consider the low temp use of the grease. Try not to mix certain grease thickeners...

Amsoil ss 0w-30, maybe a better choice in many applications, go for the preferred customer pricing deal.

A friend of mine has a Mustang that had a tick sound, very pronunced with Mobil 1 ,,then he went and used Schaeffer's oil, nice and quiet now and used same Fram filters, must be a better oil it seems.

I would think a good name brand, Pennzoil,Castrol, Royal Purple HMX,etc, 5w-30 synthetic to be fine with high milage formula or Valvoline R&P 5w-30, checking your pcv may also a good idea & use a injector cleaner too.
