My car burns oil. Should I replace the spark plugs with cheaper ones?

So it might not be that high. I drove 300 miles the past two days and I only burned 1/3 quart. So it is more like a quart ever 1k miles?

My car burns oil. Should I replace the spark plugs with cheaper ones?

The only thing is I don’t know how long ago the previous owner installed the iridiums. It could’ve been 50k miles ago but I don’t know. They just look really fouled. As long as there’s no other benefit from iridiums, maybe I should just use copper plugs someone else mentioned? Hopefully I can...

My car burns oil. Should I replace the spark plugs with cheaper ones?

Money. Also, the engine is amazing and never has let me down. Just burns oil. As long as I fill it, I don’t see this as a big issue. Just an annoying one. Especially for the people behind me 😂😂

My car burns oil. Should I replace the spark plugs with cheaper ones?

My decision is to keep the car and keep filling it up with oil. I just don’t know what cheap plugs to use. Someone said cheaper copper plugs

My car burns oil. Should I replace the spark plugs with cheaper ones?

Thank you for understanding. The car definitely smokes people out behind me but the car refuses to die. It is truly the most reliable car I have ever owned (other than having to fill oil every week). I will take an older car that burns oil vs a new car. I just don’t care for any technology in...

My car burns oil. Should I replace the spark plugs with cheaper ones?

I’ll use the iridiums then. People think that if a car burns oil, the car should be thrown away. It’s ridiculous. As long as you fill up the car with oil, I cannot see any issues occurring with the engine. If it gets to a point where the engine actually NEEDS works, I will swap the engine

The plugs are not lasting long because of the car burning

My car burns oil. Should I replace the spark plugs with cheaper ones?

I have a 2000 corolla that burns oil. I recently checked the plugs and I definitely need new ones. I am aware that I should use iridium NGK plugs normally BUT my car burns quite a bit of oil and the current plugs are taking a toll on the burning oil for sure. The previous owner changed them to...

Any specific type and brand of oil to prevent oil burning (00 corolla with worn piston rings)

Does hcl cleaner do good? should I be using conventional oil or synthetic? My main goal is to prevent the car from throwing a rod through the block or something. I’m fine with putting in the oil but I can’t have this engine destroy itself. Will synthetic stop gunk up from happening? Should I be...

Any specific type and brand of oil to prevent oil burning (00 corolla with worn piston rings)

The oil return holes on the pistons are probably clogged as this is a common issue. Will this and the use of synthetic oil help to unclog them And prevent clogs in the future?

Any specific type and brand of oil to prevent oil burning (00 corolla with worn piston rings)

My 2000 corolla has a oil burning problem. Mainly after coasting downhill in gear and giving it gas, it will emit a large plume of blue smoke. Also under heavyish acceleration it will emit a very faint trail of blue smoke. The burning comes from worn piston rings which these 00-02 corollas are...
