Any HPL users on 3.5 EcoBoosts?

I go ~10k miles on my 3.5eb. My dad drives it now so I usually send him to quick change when it needs it. When I was driving it and towed a lot I used 0w40. Now it gets 5w30. I would do 10k + on hpl without hesitation 145+k still runs fine

Not familiar with the oil? It's Costco house brand, rumored to be the same or similar as supertech. I think the last 5 uoa from this truck are with it.

2012 AmGen Growler unk oil unk hours

yeah, this is my baseline UOA for this vehicle and it's probably not even good for that :) Plus i wanted to make sure there was nothing unusual in it.

Caveat , unless you put an unusually high number of hours one year (over 200)

2012 AmGen Growler unk oil unk hours

Yeah definitely less than 337 hours on this sample. Probably less than 20 if I had to guess. The oil change before that was probably the long one, guessing maybe even original fill, but I'm speculating

Driven 15W-40 Diesel Break in oil

It's exactly what the engine manufacturer wants. Low detergent and high zinc and phosphorus for the first 50 hours. Then switch to regular hdeo. These engines are not known dilute. Old school style injection , very basic.

You can see the cords on the pictures when they loaded it. I'm going to follow up with YRC, I just know it going to be a hassle.

Funny thing happened to me in the that's not so funny way :)

They had photos of the truck being loaded and you can see the item. So YRC lost it. Basically it's in the black hole of yrc, I'm afraid it a lost cause. Win some lose some. I'm going to the terminal again this week and I am going to ask about it. I'm sure I know what the response will be :)

Funny thing happened to me in the that's not so funny way :)

Some of you may have noticed I am posting a bit of stuff in the FS section. A couple of weeks ago I won an auction lot because it contained some special power cords I need that are hard to source. I figured, cool I'll get the cords I need and sell some of the other stuff to offset the costs...

It's troll behaviour. He's fishing and we are biting. In the beginning it's fair for the forum to answer and suggest alternatives and/or ask for more info. But this poster is ignoring important and relevant questions and posting things that just don't really matter or move the discussion forward...

Knaack vs Crescent Jobox tool boxes?

From when I dealt with these a few years ago I would say Knaack all day long. At least back then they were nicer fit and finish, better lock system and heavier steel. Wish I had kept mine. Knaack is like a lincoln and crescent is like the Taurus. :) Edit to add I think Greenlee used to be USA...
