In my experience with appliances the fewer the options the less there is to go wrong. I perform regular vacuuming of the coils on my fridge and it keeps chugging away and runs quiet.

I got Bosch pumps in both of my cars. Avoid airtex and carter like the plague i don't know anything about delphi pumps.
