IMO the root of the problems with the 2.4 is the switch to DI. The PCV orifice worked fine in the prior 2.2 which was MPFI. Without fuel wash to keep the intake manifold and ports clean the orifice will block over and over. And being an orifice, the flow of blowby can change direction depending...

Once you use oil, you’re pretty much committed. You can’t use wax unless you remove all of the oil and grime. You could try woolwax. It’s actually not a wax. It’s an oil that’s thicker than fluid film. Doesn’t smell as much they say.
