    Best/Worst A/C Performance in a car?

When I worked as a GM tech....We would get Geo/Chevrolet Trackers in with AC performance complaints & there was noting to be done as the system was simply inadequate. I remember the later Geo/Chevrolet Prizm had all GM/Harrison AC hardware instead of Toyota/Denso & they performed much better...

    Best/Worst A/C Performance in a car?

I agree, Though the Lexus LS & later Avalon's do okay. My wife's Honda Odyssey is barely adequate above 95° with a new compressor, condenser, OE expansion valves & proper charge. My 2019 Yukon XL has the best AC performance of a vehicle I've owed. My 2001 Camaro does really, really well for it...

    2015 F-150 V6 Duratec issues

You probably want to buy the camshaft lock tools. I would replace all 4 cam phasers using OE Ford parts. The cam tools would've been helpful to verify physical cam timing (To each other anyway) when you had the valve covers off. Also could've took a wrench to each camshaft to see if one of the...

    wiring advice

You could "Bus Bar" the grounds, It's how I like to wire Corvettes. I've used Littelfuse 882-869-7 with good results....It's meant as a positive bus bar & is fused. Just a added layer of protection really. Just need to run the appropriate gauge for the distance & amp load.

What would you pay for this '97 GMC truck?

The "market" varies regionally.....Not going to get $10K for a GMT400 if it has ANY rust in DFW, What you would consider clean is a rusted out POS to us. A 305 2wd truck wouldn't come close to $10K!

Big vs. Mini Trucks: New Purchases

2018 was the last year, The L8T wasn't offered yet. I'm not saying the HD 5.7L Hemi is a bad engine, But can't compete with a L8T far as power & torque. I'd also give duty cycle to the L8T for the lower HP per cubic inch, Piston cooling nozzles, And forged crankshaft.

    1965 442 value guidance

You have a good understanding of how this works......To get top dollar, The stars need to align just right. Have you ever looked for the build sheet? At the end of the day....A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay, And as you eluded to....The pool of potential top buyers is ever...

    Source Of Supply For Wheels

I think GM 8x6.5"/16x6.5" wheels use a smaller center bore, Pretty sure any OE Dodge 16x6.5" wheels will fit & function well.

6.7 Powerstroke Diesel Injectors failing at low mileage?

Whoever writes diagnostic flow charts need to spend some time in the trenches...I roll my eyes every time I read checking resistance when it comes to wiring & connections.

Big vs. Mini Trucks: New Purchases

The 5.7L Hemi doesn't directly compete with the GM 6.6L L8T, If GM were to install a 6.6L in a 1500 & tweak it for the lighter duty cycle....450-470 horsepower would be easy.
