No a filter should not weep. That filter is under pressure when the engine is running, so you can't have any places the oil would weep or you would have an oil spray when then engine is running.

Champ filters are fine filters and I doubt you will ever have a single problem, but Baldwin is a proven fleet filter company. There micron rating is not going to be as fine as a Fram Ultra or Wix filter, but they are built strong and will handle fleet abuse.

Heavy equipment use to always be 250 hours for service, but now most oems say 500hr service. I don't believe in running a piece of equipment that long even with full synthetic oil, because of fuel dilution. I say 250hr conventional and 350hr synthetic oil.
