Hello I just recently purchased a 2005 4.7L Toyota Tundra. It has 168k miles on it and I’m wondering what you’d recommend using for oil, filter, and OCI?

Is there anything with using European oils in these trucks? Either a 0w40 or a 5w30 rated a3/b4? Do they hold up better? Is there any issues with using them compared to oils meeting ford spec?

I keep reading about some people having the timing chain rattle. I'm wondering, since the rattle occurs within the 1st few seconds of start up would running a 0w oil help this? Theoretically it should flow quicker to the tensioner eliminating or reducing the sound correct? Or will it still not...

I recently purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler with the 3.6. What do you guys recommend to run for oil and filter. I've had good luck with Fran ultras in the past for filters but I know some vehicles require specific anti drain back pressures and such. And sometimes some oil filters don't meet that.

Also forgot to mention I live in NY If that matters. It don’t be beat on but will see some occasional off-road and spirited driving.... as much spirited as a Cherokee could do lol
