    Shopping two stroke oil...

    Husqvarna Xp ,Stihl Ultra ,or Motul 800 @ 32-1 . They all work well . The only complaint is the Ultra smells a bit like burnt plastic .

    Well, got the r2's installed on my wife's Pilot . Obviously not much to report on winter performance over the mxv4 Michelins . About the only thing that I have noticed is a slightly rougher ride . Otherwise ,,I haven't noticed any significant change in the way the vehicles drives .

    When I was stationed in U.K. During the 80's ,the worst car there was the FSO . It was an older Fiat design made in eastern eupope . Our credit union wouldn't finance them for three years even if they were new . They wouldn't get all the way through the loan before they were trashed .

    @wirelessF , thanks ! As soon as i get a set of winter skins for the wifes car , my truck is going to need to shed it's Revo2 s . Been looking at the goodyear wrangler so it's nice to see an alternative in my trucks tire size (285 70 17 ) .

    I'm about 99% sure that I'm going with hakka r2 suvs for my wife's Pilot I've got the rims and tpms sensors , just waiting on winter tires to become available . One question I have is how different do these tires handle in dry ,or wet conditions as compared to a all season type tire ?

    The vehicle is an 07 rav4 2.4 awd . 85000 miles on the clock . I use penzoil synthetic 5-20 exclusively . I'm losing maybe a half quart or less < than 500 miles . No leaks visible . Where should i start looking ? Pvc ,egr ... ? Thanks for any ideas you can help out with . I'd just like to...

    My daughter is stationed in the UK . When We shipped Her Vehicle to her,the wheel lock tool was included . After it arrived , it was missing . As both the wife ,and I are retired USAF, We realize that things like this happen . What are My Daughters options for taking the wheels off absent the key ?

    As your limit is $300 your are very limited in your choices . You might want to save a few bucks ... And get a good reliable saw . The Stihl 290 would fit bill . Very reliable, heavy and under powered .

    The Jeep liberty had a diesel in it . It was called the CRD . It got poor mileage , wasn't reliable , and beat up the 545re trans . How do I come to this conclusion? I had one . Looked good on paper , sucked in the real world.
