F-35 Fighter Too Big To Fail

You've heard of too big to fail banks, well now we have too big to fail fighter jets. A $100 Billion down the tubes so far and according to the article it could probably be shot down by a well flown Mig 21. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/a...l#ixzz4k9rxdIyC

    Switching career fields to photographer

I was a studio photographer for major educational publisher at one time. Unfortunately, just about every photographer and photographers assistant I knew had to change careers or retire. The work just wasn't there anymore once digital photography and the internet took over. One of them became a...

How far would you drive for guaranteed job ?

An hour drive verses unemployed and no job prospects makes the decision a lot easier, wouldn't want to do it myself however, gets to be a real grind as time goes on. I've known a few people that did two hour door to door mass transit commutes: train to subway to walking into NYC. Anything over...

    Keeping gravel free of weeds

Regular unleaded gas works just as well without exposing yourself to the toxins, carcinogens and endocrine disruptors in Roundup, (nasty stuff). Perhaps diesel as well if you can get it without the red dye. I spray just before sunset on a calm evening so it doesn't evaporate too quickly

    Having trouble bleeding brakes

Also, be careful not push the brake pedal to the floor as this puts the MC plunger beyond its normal travel range and may score or damage the seals. I'd also bleed the lines at the MC for good measure.

If you have room for an oversized filter any filter that cross references to a Purolator L10241 will work. http://www.oilfilter-crossreference.com/convert/Purolator/L10241

When do you decide? Buy own tools or pay someone?

There are actually three parts to the DYI equation: Free time, ability/know how, and proper tools. (you could add in a decent work space to that as well). Tools are the least important in my opinion Most regular maintenance jobs can be accomplished with a basic $200 Craftmans mechanic tool...
