What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

There's nothing in a true milspec (MIL-PRF-63460F) CLP that will harm a Dan Wesson finish.

What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

Just use a MIL-PRF-63460F CLP on your handgun and call it a day. There is nothing in this formulation that would harm any metal or plastic components. Alternatively, a very light grease such as TW25B rubbed onto the metal where it's no longer white works well.

    India's first homegrown aircraft carrier

It's hard to take a country seriously when all they have is ski jump aircraft carriers. Full catapult or nothing.

That Super 88 tape works well and if it ever tries to come up a little super glue keeps it in place.

I went back picked up a 16 oz hammer for $15.50. What I do when I get a new striking tool is that I wrap the handles in tennis racquet grip. Three grips are about four bucks. I secure the end with electrical tape. It lasts a long time and you really get a great grip with sweaty or greasy hands.

    What about these louvers?

I should have done my homework and researched if it had louvers before I purchased it. I just prefer holes or the E-Core design. There's been a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth about the louvers and I guess I'm caught up in the hysteria haha.

Scored this 12 inch Mayhew pry bar from the pawn shop for five bucks. It's been used but not abused. The tip still looks great.

I scored a nice 12 oz. Vaughan ball peen for $15 from my local mom and pop hardware store. I actually put it to use this morning before I snapped this photo. The dark streaks in the wood look like cracks but it's just dark wood. It's also nice and straight up and down and the head is hung...

    What about these louvers?

Man I appreciate it. I don't know what I was thinking. I have the Supertech version of the FL910s filter on there right now. 😬

    What about these louvers?

Thanks everyone. I made pawn this one off to my Kawasaki mower. It's a 7317 (Honda) size. I really like everything about the filter except these louvers. That's what happens when you buy a filter online sight unseen.

I've got to check my tractor supply today while I'm off. I'll definitely pick up one of those made in USA Mayhew chisels is they're available on clearance.

What I'm asking is do you think these louver cutouts are adequate?

    What about these louvers?

Louver lovers and haters what do you think about the louvers on this Champ XL? All the louvers near the top are pressed closed. I'm interested in any feedback you have.

    Youtube Ads

I've never purchased anything from any ad, been swayed to vote a certain way, or have any want to look at any ads while I'm browsing. I just see it as 100% annoyance. So now I'm not annoyed anymore when I use this browser.

Thanks for the photo and reply. Sometimes I really like deeper broach sockets but most of the time I prefer shallower broached if clearance is not a problem.
