I tried that and ended up with rice mush. It was totally not edible and I threw it away. Actually I soaked it first. It didn't work. I think a better idea is to eat millet instead.

Dollar store rice will have the highest levels of arsenic, in case it matters to any of you. Most likely grown in the southeast USA. Thailand or India rice, or Lundberg from California are probably your best bets.

I don't rinse brown rice in cool water after cooking it. I cook it 1C rice in 2C water. Rinsing it seemed to work good with white Jasmine rice but I haven't tried it with brown Jasmine rice.

Not too bad. I mostly use it for FM to listen to WETS public radio in my living room. The TVL band gets stations, but not the TVH weather band.
