We were able to get the car for $1500, from my wife's coworker. It was a deal we couldn't pass up.

I took a quick look at it last night. It is a well maintained car with regular oil changes and transmission service records. The 2.5 feels like a strong motor.

Considering one as a first car for my son. How reliable are these cars? It has the 2.5 with 136000.

Pilkington is the brand of glass that I was quoted. The installed price would be just under $250.

When I had my 06 XC90 2.5t I used mostly PP and PU 5w-30 at 7500 mile intervals. Used super tech synthetic a few times with no issues.

In 2007, the XC90 no longer had the 2.5t as the standard engine. Starting in 2007 the 3.2 i6 was standard. As far as I'm concerned, seats in the XC90 are the most comfortable of any vehicle I've ever owned.
