@clinebarger this is exactly the issue. Just because it says snap-on people think it should cost a fortune. I won't pay 700 beans for a 10 year old scan tool. I just can't do it.

I'll look into a solus pro. How much would I look to spend on one? Off the top of your head? I'll research myself as well.

    Food grade grease?

We use Jax brand grease in the bakery that I'm a maintenance tech at. I'll have to take a pic of the product. It's used in everything from the mixers (bundy and peerless) the vemag divider, sheeter, the bun coolers, everything.

A soulus pro would be a good one. Shouldn't it work on my 2002 gmt-800 pickup as well as my gmt-400? That would essentially kill two birds with one stone and allow me to keep my parts store innova scanner in the center console as a "loaner"

    I need a scanner.

Yes. Must do live data. I love having cold, hard, data to look at when I am diagnosing issues with my/other people's vehicles. Imo tyring to diagnose a computer controlled vehicle without a way to talk to the computer is shooting yourself in the foot. Also. I've considered the Chinese tech2...

    I need a scanner.

Hey guys. As the title says, I need a scanner for 1995 and older vehicles. I need this thing to be able to do live data. It will be used on gm vehicles %94.7256 of the time. My budget is roughly 300-350 dollars. Any links or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
