2015 Camry 4 cyl antienvironmental oil burner

I think this all comes down to how the engine is broken in. You've gotta seat those rings which means lots of pedal and highish revs. At this point if you want that engine to fail this test I suggest driving it hard with lots of high rpm for that 1000 miles. Sure it's going to burn more fuel...

Should I "Tune" a new Jetta SE

I tune all my vehicles. SCT for mustangs. Diablosport for chryslers and Chevys. It's pointless getting a 87 octane tune. If they claim 34hp with just tuning on 87 octane I'm calling bull right now. The only tunes worth getting are the maxed out ones on 91-93 octane. And even those tunes...

    Manual transmissions

Those lenco units are something else. First time I saw one I was confused. I didn't understand how it worked. Once I dug in I thought it was really neat how they work together with each unit under driving the one in front of it. 10 minutes to rebuild a trans. Awesome.

Thickest oil used in Ford 4.0?

Having a lot of experience with the 4.6 2v I learned some neat tidbits. The chain guides wearing is highly dependent on the chains themselves. If the chain links were stamped out late in the die's life it makes the edges rough and will rip the plastic guides up faster than if the links were...

    severe service

Here in Sask we experience winter temps that are comparable to Alaska. Everyone idles their vehicles to warm them up in winter. I let them idle for hours during the winter. In fact there are days where I lock up my vehicle still running and work my usual workday. I've never seen Sask vehicle...

Oil for perpetually short-trip Ford Coyote 5.0?

If it's got the oil life monitor just follow it. What a cool car. Is it fuel injected or is there a carb capable manifold out now for these kinds of swaps. Must be a blast to drive.
