Nice and cool'ish day. Should be able to get the transmission under 122 F. Checked this morning cold and TFT is at 70 degrees. Started it for 3 minutes, jumped to 78. It doesn't take long to warm up!

Problem solved, found a Innova 3160 locally for pickup.

Interesting, the scanner I bought doesn't have a PID for TFT.... hmm. That throws a wrench into the final step. Doing some last minute research on whether the 6 speed TCM even reports TFT, or if it's just a limitation of the cheapish scanner I have.

Zero difference with that OCI in that engine and use case if you’re using a Dexos1G3 licensed oil of brand A or B. The van has the highest OCI and it’s on ST, if that means anything to ya ;) But the real questions is, which one makes you feel better and is that feeling worth the $ difference.

Amazing! Looks like it might be trending even better than your last OCI of VRP. Maybe some (maybe just some) of those VRP OCI’s included natural consumption of VRP by its design… how else does an oil get to ringlands, in sufficient quantity, to CLEAN them 😎
