If you are driving the car like a normal person, you should be ok, there was a Video that showed once the car was started 2 quarts were lifted from the Oil Pan. I think it was a 4.6 Ford Engine. I would be more concerned with the oil being under filled.

I would not worry about the Approvals, if all of these so-called approvals meant anything, we would not need VRP. On the flip side, there are people who do extended OCI's that need VRP. If those people did 5K OCI's then maybe it is a different story.

Your TSX, stick with VRP 5W-30, I am using Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 and it is fine, guess what, when I run out of the ESP, I am going to try VRP! I think the Mobil 1 ESP is better than the Castrol option.

The 2 cars that you have you are using HPL and VRP, I would go with either oil, but to answer your question Mobil 1 ESP is better than the Castrol Edge!
