    Briggs Quantum refuses to prime

Carburetor Spray Cleaner, I have a 29-year-old Briggs Engine on my Toro Super Recycler. I take the air filter panel off, spray a shot of carburetor cleaner and the mower starts on the 1st pull. I have been doing this for 15 years, I cannot get the primer bulb to work, I even installed a new1, no...

Honda J35 V6 (J35Z4) Sludge and Cam Scoring

I thought it was a Penny saved was a Penny Earned, then again, I did see that in a recent Commercial. Then again it could have been a Penny Earned is a Penny Saved, that sounds better.

Best 2 stroke oil for small old outboards premix

https://www.amsoil.com/p/amsoil-100-1-pre-mix-100-synthetic-2-stroke-outboard-oil-ato/?code=ATOQT-EA This is some good stuff, do not run it at 100 to 1, stick with your 50 to 1 Ratio.

Honda J35 V6 (J35Z4) Sludge and Cam Scoring

Honda recommends a 7500 Mile OCI for this Vehicle, what jumps out at me is according to Amsoil this engine only holds 4.5 quarts of oil! That amount of oil tells me to not go past a 5000-mile OCI.

    2022 Silverado 5.3L 25k mi; Mobil1 AFE 0W-20 5.1k mi

A few things here, but 1st, thanks for the UOA! If you are going to do 5000-mile OCI's or change the Oil every 6 months, there really is not a need for a UOA. If you ever do a UOA again at least get a TBN and TAN Number. I would also recommend using Amsoil's UOA Service, I think it is called...

Fram Ultra vs New WM Purolator 25K ?

The way things are going with Oil Filters, just go ahead and buy the cheapest oil filter. The reason I say this is we have seen issues with the more expensive oil filters. Forget about the Fram Ultra, just go with the Fram Orange, same thing with Purolator, just get their cheapest oil filter.

Could HPL clean too well for my car's problem?

You do realize that even though you put in a new PCV you also need to make sure that everything else is clear. What I mean is all of the hoses and whatever baffles are in the Valve Cover. Follow me on this, and it will help you out, years ago I had a 1982 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that had oil...

    Amsoil didn't do any better

I like the colors in this Picture, especially the Blue Color! Where is the Oil Temperature Reading taken from? This picture takes me back to the 1980's with the Alpine Car Stereo with a Cassette Deck, that color was Green!

    Amsoil didn't do any better

Out of all the oil's you used, Amsoil has the best TBN Reading, you could have gone 10,000 miles on the Amsoil according to Blackstone. I would stick with Amsoil and change your oil every 6000 miles. If you are going to get rid of the car in a few years, then take the OCI up to 10K.
