Good results but remember the extra zinc and phosphorus in diesel oil wreak havoc on ice engine emissions systems, especially the Cat.

    Subaru Crosstrek?

My son has a 21 Crosstrek 2.Slow with a CVT. It’s a fuel diluter too, gaining on the dipstick. But it’s been a really good car. Good economical and reliable transportation.

16 year old, 7k hour air filter

A shop-vac is the way to go if you can’t find a new filter. I avoid compressed air on cabin and air filters.

Ram/Stellantis to announce 10 year/100.000 mile powertrain warranty for 2026 model year.

There are only two reasons to purchase a new truck: 1) it’s used for work and you can write most of it off, or 2) you have money to burn. The new warranty is a false leader….unless you’re going to use it for 10 yrs.

Change it or let it ride a little longer?

Another few hundred or 5k won’t matter. Change it when life permits.

2020 Civic Hatchback 1.5T; multiple UOAs Kirkland and Pennzoil 0w-20

I’d be curious to see how either oil performs using the Honda OLM. But the 5k OCI seems to be working well for you, regardless of the fuel dilution. Thanks for the interesting post.

Look at the numbers and mileage!! Keep doing exactly what you’ve been doing! Fuel dilution, although up there, doesn’t seem to be affecting the engine wear. I’m looking forward to hearing how it’s doing at 300k.

    Champion COS3593A - C&P (7000 Miles Honda J-Series)

Looks good! I run my Honda Fit oil filter for two OCI’s. I also change my oil based on the OLM which is usually 8-10k. That filter could go another 7k easy. Thanks for posting

How to analyze oil (beyond Blackstone)?

Dude, it’s a new engine/car. Just drive it and change the oil at the recommended time. Check back in 200k.
