it cranks quick and all is well that I can tell. Oh and Trav I switched to PP but it started leaking from a few places so i switched to PHM and the leak has all but stopped so I am stuck using conventional oil. Oh and I replaced the pct valve about a 2 months ago.

i have to ask you all. So many of you are talking about 40wt or 60wt oils. My cars are all specked to 20 or 30 wt. I have to ask is it really all about fuel requirements that us Americans have to run 20 or 30 wt? Are the vehicles you run there really built differently so they take thicker oil?

good points. Its strange how I never even considered the difference between cool not even cold but cool oil temp viscosity and operating temp. I mean if the big deal is that somehow the tolerances can't handle it than what about all the time spent at 20 or 30 CST during warm up right?
