Is moly important and if not what else?

Thank you all for elaborating on this subject it has really helped my understanding. Seriously this is the type of direct statements that help the layman understand. Now I know what you mean when you say not having moly isn't the end of that oils quality.

Is moly important and if not what else?

Yes it does per the first link MolaKule posted to the Moly section on this site says this. This is why to my understanding I don't know if anything but Moly does this and thus if it's lacking then it's lacking. "This coating effectively fills in the microscopic pores that cover the surface of...

Is moly important and if not what else?

So I'm looking to use max life and i see no moly. Now I understand some that only have a little moly like M1 are supposed to be using some super duper tri moly but what about the supposed good oils with no moly? I think moly is supposed to help with multiple things and one important thing is to...

I'm just going to jump in here and answer the question in my opinion as it was asked for thoughts. It is not fine to run 7,500 and not know what they are using. Now I am jaded as I ran intervals like that with Valvoline White Bottle on my 05 Honda Odyssey and it some years later I am paying the...

    USA Owned filter and oil

good feedback every seriously its food for thought. I agree that buying from a foreign company that has manufacturing in the states does indeed help people here with employment but it would be even better if the entire corporation was home grown just for the sake of trying something different...

I guess its just the way things are. What about oil? Is Ashland fully USA owned?
