More food for your thought, we own: 06 Pilot with 266k miles, lived on 5w20 only (per the manual/fillcap) 11 Ody with 212k miles, lived on 0w20 only 19 Pilot with 86k miles, lived on 0w20 only No oil issues, no engine issues.

Look at Wen and AiPower before you buy the HF. Same manufacturer without the HF markup, they have lost their value. Way better warranties thatn HF also.

If it has a lot of fuel in it I would pump all the old fuel out - good excuse to buy a GasTapper https://a.co/d/7Bs9xxm Then refill with fresh and add Techron Marine fuel system cleaner.

How are you checking the oil level? Consistent same flat level location? Consistent engine temperature?

We have a 2006 Pilot with 5 speed AT with 268k miles, shifts better than our 11 Odys with 210k miles. Honda fluid only the whole time, followed Maint Minder until 200k, then tried to do a drain a fill every other oil change (15k miles?).

That makes sense on the 0w40. Amazed on the orginal spark plugs making it 200k. Does it have to pass emissions/smog/inspection? Ours has had a CEL for P0420 since like 120k miles but we dont have emissions testing.
