I agree with everything you said in that post, except this. The 200 was not a re-badged Dart. There’s 3 different “compact” platforms. A chassis that’s adaptable to many different vehicles from the Dart all the way up to the Pacifica, plus many Alfa models.

I think you’re right. 5k oil changes is what I would do on it. 6200 on factory fill and it’s still showing 50%? There’s no way that’s accurate IMO.

You mentioned the lifter issues with the 5.3, which makes the Hemi lifter issue look good, but question the Hurricanes unknown reliability. It seems that you have a dilemma! Known issues that cause poor reliability, 5.3 lifters and a questionable 10 speed transmission, or the unknown...

I had to replace the “Coolant outlet” on the Buick in my signature. While I was at it, I replaced the hose connector that snaps into the top of it. For $6 more, I went ahead and ordered it since I figured that it might possibly break taking it off. It didn’t, but it got replaced with the new one...

😂 I don’t think I’ll be finding out. LP Adventure and HRG make 1.5” lifts for them and some Mazda dealers will even install them. If I was to do any serious off-roading, I would just get myself another Jeep or maybe a Frontier Pro4x. These rigs like the Mazda can get you a little farther off...
