show me your Dino oil engine pics please

I wish I had a pic- I had a 1994 Plymouth Sundance I put about 200K on. A little over 100K I changed the valve cover gasket (2.5L 4 cyl). Cylinder head and cam cover were clean, shiny and awesome looking. 3K oil changes with typically Napa conventional 5w30 and whatever filter was on sale. This...

    Chrysler 3.5L SOHC oil consumption

Thanks all. If anything I may switch the HM 10w-30 if the price is similar. If not, I will stay with the Mobil 5000.

    The oil or the weight?

I would run the 10w-30. Those engines arent very sophisticated, but 15w-40 will hurt your mileage pretty bad unless you do long highway trips with few cold starts.

    Chrysler 3.5L SOHC oil consumption

All- Looking for suggestions. This engine has been somewhat frustrating for me. Chrysler Pacifica in sig. We got the car with I believe 34K on it about 2 years ago. We now have about 63K on it. I maintain it to standard or better. I have replaced one set of rocker arms due to the follower knock...

Coldest start temp for your motorcycle?

I started my Ninja 650r in the teens twice. Each time I blew out the oil filter gasket (15w-40 oil). Properly torqued filters.....never again.

Which of these synthetic oils "clean" better?

Dont make any difference. Run whatever you want, timely OCI, good filter. Sleep well.

    Ruger GP100- 16 year wait!

Yeah man, I carried autos on the street for many years. Just never could emotionally let go of the wheelgun. While I am staying home with my son till he goes to school and not doing police work, carrying a full house stainless 357 as a CCW makes me happy!

Pushmower oil temp, 261F, 5HP Kawasaki

30HD is my choice for my pushmower. I run 15w-40 in my rider. It really looked rough coming out of there this fall though.....may look at other options in the future.

    Ruger GP100- 16 year wait!

Well- this has been a 16 year odyssey. I started doing police work in 1998. Where I worked, in Southeastern Louisiana, a very large part of the law enforcement community still used the .357 magnum. I was poor (still in college) and my dad lent me his Ruger Security Six to use. I went through the...
