Exactly the point of my original comment. Am I surprised? Yes a bit because I’ve heard many have had issues. The motors made in Michigan, the tranny in Japan and it was assembled in Mexico. Nothing Italian to speak of 😂

Officially the most dependable car I have ever owned up to the current mileage of 190,000 miles. I think I got extremely lucky. Other than maintenance and wear items the only thing it’s needed was a thermostat.

I’ve never changed it in my 2012 Fiat 500 automatic and I’m almost at 200,000 miles. Shifts like new 🤷‍♂️

It’s not 1975 anymore 😂. This car has been the most reliable car I have ever owned. Other than wear items and maintenance I’ve only had to replace a bad thermostat. I bought it used with 600 miles on it for $11,000 back in 2012. Who knows maybe I got lucky 🍀

My 2012 Fiat 500 has a small oil leak. Fix or just add oil every so often? Two hours labor plus a $20 gasket. Thoughts?

I’d never take a risk based on everything I have heard on the newer models, but man we had a 2009 Elantra in the family until last year and that thing did 260,000 miles with no major issues.

Completely false. Independent dealers can mark up a car as much as they want. The car manufacturers can only ask them not to, but they are free to do it.

CarMax was 20 minutes from my house and I was in and out in 45 minutes.
