    F150 Aero truck

Very few want a 2 door truck unless it’s cost savings for a work fleet. Even fewer want a manual trans in any vehicle That’s why they aren’t being made. Not to mention a 8-10 speed auto likely gets better mpg for cafe

    Weird off brand cars.

Have an Alfa, Maserati dealer a couple shops down from me. Pretty normal to see around here. But then again we have Porsche and Bentley dealers too

Tesla Christmas Road Trip - Battery needed frequent re-charging - Range Estimates were 50% to 69% off

I think a big issue is the charging at home. Yet to owners that have one it’s the best thing. Some think it’s easy as just saying it. There are many older homes that can not be set up to charge for any reasonable price. Over 10 grand due to many many things needing upgrading or changed. There...

    Jeep Rear Main Seal Leak

Seals harden up and groove them. That’s a depends how bad the leak is scenario. Cardboard under it or gravel driveway just keep it topped off. Very difficult for anyone to guarantee a leak free engine on one of those. Surprisingly the shop took that job in and is willing to try to redo it

Which 2012 Scion xB would you buy?

I would look at them both and decide from there. Sight unseen would likely take the cheaper one and roll the dice

    New tool thread

I would reckon to put the icon up against the Milwaukee pliers. They are actually really good. Some well I think all icons are basically duplicates of Snap-on popular pliers. Considering they hired away some snapon higher ups would not surprise me. Some are even being made in the US right now...

High miles with no Coolant / ATF or other maintenance

Some of the manufacturers don’t push the fluid changes in the maint schedule. They like to claim low cost of ownership at the risk of fluid lasting and or many new vehicle buyers getting rid of them before a ton of miles anyways. Call some dealers to get prices on some not common fluid maint...

Red calipers only for sports cars

I would get a body glove shirt from eBay or elsewhere and wear it everytime I drove that thing

    Mopar 75W85

That one is the least expensive…the common place use of that from the service manual is 2500-3500 rams of a certain block of years.

    Mopar 75W85

Problem is there are at least 3 75w85 formulas from mopar that I can think of off the top of my head. Why who knows. Likely the axle manufacturers are saying use this. And the next manufacturer says use this one. So for warranty and charge back to vendor purposes they have all these random...

    New $10k Toyota Truck

Right. Heck barely see any Versas or mirages on the road. Those are the 2 cheapest msrp vehicles you could buy last year. Yet they are small (for USA standards) and under equipped and under powered So if people truly wanted bare bones cheap cars there would be more. Surely Mitsubishi and...

New family hauler - VW Atlas

Awesome new ride. Congrats. Nice GLI too

Your opinion of how this VW GLI looks

If you are driving it just get some new wheels with actually good tires on it. If your wife is just leave it as is. The factory wheels are tucked in too much and the tires are awful. You can get the correct offset with new wheels and the color you want. My wife and I share our 19 GLI great car.

    Costco microfibers marked down

    2024 Honda Odyssey

Mini van is king for kids in everyday life. No worries about slamming that wide opening rear door into the vehicle next to you (maybe even your own in the garage). It’s also easier to get the carry click in infant car seats in and or having to buckle your child for the next couple years in the...

Safelite using wiper upsell to boost profit margin?

Also many times your manufacturer dealer will have a good glass person that does it at the dealer for much less than Safelite. No one else has tv commercials like safelite. That costs lots of money
