257,000 mi of Valvoline conventional 5k OCI (pics)

Wow reading this whole thread really makes me remember that members here are more concerned about measuring their 'dipstick' sizes and one upping than giving compliments for a job well done. I'm not one of those guys. So again I say nice pic and congrats.

A little late in the game here - but referring to the original post : What a great pic! This gets me excited. I want to say that it's probably more due to the reliability and awesomeness of the Toyota engine than the Valvoline but Valvoline is a great oil and I use it in my toyota too. In fact...

Extended life oil.. from cheap oil

Hello op, at least he, in some fashion, is changing the oil. Oils are tough these days and so are engines. Built to withstand neglect. Doesn't mean you should, but I think your friend is okay. Learn how to change the oil yourself and then teach him. No use paying $27 for an oil change that may...

Why don't more BITOGers use Quaker State?

QSGB is a really nice oil for the price. I think anyone looking to save a couple bucks won't go wrong with it or MS5k.

Single Stack 9mm for Concealed Carry

The shield is good but you might want to consider a Kahr CM9 or a Beretta Nano. They are both smaller and more concealable. The Shield is a little larger but will work well IWB if that's what you're looking for.

Also to elaborate, I have an SR22 and I put gym shorts on today and carried it around the house. Too cumbersome and heavy and from what I recall that gun is 19 oz fully loaded and 17.5 oz empty. I know the bodyguard would fit the bill - and i like the design of the gun - but I hate that trigger...

Smith 637 Performance Center vs Bodyguard 380?

I know I have a new pistol thread almost every week! but I am researching my options for pocket carry and here's my conflicts : Shooting is expensive! I shoot my own 9mm and 38s. That has cut down costs quite a bit. Getting into another caliber would mean more dies, more casings, more time. So...
