Just replaced my radiator hose and....

So it sounds like a replacement is the way to go. Ill order a radiator and cross my fingers - never replaced one before or even done a coolant flush and fill. How bad can someone mess it up? I guess it can't be any worse than now where I can't drive it. Did I mention I bought this thing for $...

Just replaced my radiator hose and....

So today I had a blowout on my radiator hose. I was able to make it up the hill, shut it off, duct tape the hose, and get it home before it did too much damage overheating. I went to the local parts store, got some clamps and a hose and as I took the old hose off, the "spigot" or whatever the...

95 Accord shakes, stutters, and loses power

Hey all, long time no see. Recently bought a 95 Honda Accord for $350. It's got 237k, has some bumper damage and previously had its engine replaced due to it belonging to a negligent teenager once upon a time in its life. The guy I got it from owned it for a good few years, said when the engine...

how accurate should the average joe be.

Also, one should be able to get five shots within a 3" grouping at 7 yards with a typical defensive handgun (2-4" barrels) to be considered well-practiced or even average. Start close, move out from there. I see guys trying to impress their friends by shooting a bottle at 30 yards with a...

Any experience with these? I have a local installer willing to put them on (only used a few miles) for $360 installed. I'd be using them year round though, as I don't have a set of summer tires nor would I store them. For about $410 I can get a new set of General Altimax RT43. Or I could go...

Pistol Distance: how far are you shooting?

I am still working on my handgunning skills, so I practice at between 2 and 5 yards. If I can't hit my target satisfactory at that range, extending it further isn't going to help. So that's where I am at.
