Every new engine, don't care what name is on it, will have break in metal flakes ALL throughout the block and pan. Oil filters do not catch it. You must do oil and filter dumps early and often. As in say 50 miles, 100 miles and so on till the metal is gone.
When did East Penn start making the F-250 trucks?
Like I had a question about vanilla ice cream. I called Sony in Japan. Their chart said.........
East Penn makes the batteries. They are not going to tell you no and lose a sale.
All sales and marketing no doubt. A battery is a battery is a battery. Lead falls off the plates from vibrations and poor roads. Sediment tray fills up finally shorting out the cells. Then you get to complain on how bad the old battery was.
Old school green vs new long life.
Old green provides immediate protection. Yes it doesn't last as long protection wise, 1-2 years.
New long life coolants protect much slower. Like a slow release pain killer like Advil. This is how these new coolants provide longer protection periods. So which...
No they are not the same chemistry. Read it on here the other day.
So you are saying Toyota just changed colors for kicks? What pink color additive is cheaper/better than red?
Really. Trying to recall, you use alcohol to degrease and prep. Apply the paint then that Diesel like clear solvent curing agent right? Or am I thinking of another touch up kit?
Why are you trying to save money on coolant? Oh, gas at wartime prices, groceries up 85%, insurance through the roof, 401K's in the toilet, housing costs up 140% and so on. Let's all thank Joe and Kam-a'-la.
I would read the manual as to what flavor it takes.
Far as Toyota saying red and pink can be used together/interchangeably, why the different color AND formulation?
