Update tho. Changed the oil at 6k. Put more premium blue restore in. Been about 1k miles so far. Hasn’t used a drop.

I can’t remember off hand. I think 3k on castrol gtx. It’s been about 12 years since he’s had the truck.

I agree. The esp has been the best looking off the shelf oil I’ve seen for many applications.

No problem and yes I did. Amsoil z rod 10w40, amsoil XL 10w40, and amsoil ss 0w40 I have another voa of amsoil premium protection 10w40 posted as well. Definitely not with the calcium levels. Kinda surprised they didn’t offset it with magnesium to be sp rated friendly. I’m sure they have...

Wet clutches need friction. I didn’t see the part of this oil also being wet clutch applications therefore it makes sense why it doesn’t have any addictives to reduce friction. I’ll do better for now on looking into more details on products.

There’s none in this formula and after reading more on the amsoil website I now see why.

I can explain it the best I can with what I know so far. For the analysis part we can see the chemistry of the oil with what it has, how much of it, and etc to help determine if that’s the best formula for your goals and application. Other companies as well as amsoil spends large sums money...
