Longest oil change interval on EcoBoost / GTDI engines?

I'd go with a 10-40 if dilution and oci are the prime concern

    Drain/refill vs diy flush?

I was getting some rough shifting with the fusion. Drain and refilled about 4.5 qt, transmission shifts quick and smooth with no hesitation or jerking.

I get the Michelin blades at Walmart, they last six months to a year depending on the season. Florida sun eats them quick.

BEST place to bring old OIL after you do an OC?

Auto Zone usually. I don't even talk to anyone, I walk in carrying a full oil container, I get a nod and proceed to the big blue tank in the back. Filters I drain for a while, put a folded shop towel in the bottom of the box the new filter came in, put the old filter in that and dispose in trash.

    I put in 2 1/2 qts, damage?

It's running so I'd just tell your friend to check his oil or be prepared for an unscheduled expense

Group 3 oil with best heat stability?

Those water temps aren't crazy high, but if you're tracking I'd be real careful not to overheat. M1 0w-40 is my recommendation.

Oil Temp Needed To Keep Oil Clean/Free of Moisture and Fuel ?

90C will evaporate the water out relatively quickly. Some parts of the gasoline will evaporate out as well, but there are heavier components of gasoline with high boiling points and 80-90C is not enough to evaporate all fuel contamination. That's why all the bitogers that have GDI engines don't...

    Brothers new Kubota L2501

Normally I'd agree with you but the manual I looked up is way out of date. CI-4 or better and 10w-30 or 15w-40 depending on operating temps.

    Brothers new Kubota L2501

Read the other thread about the super udt2 in the HST, are there any other fluids (besides engine oil) that are worth upgrading? Tractor has 7.4 hours on it so far. We did some tree work this weekend and I'm in love. Such a nice piece of equipment. There is a blurb in the owners manual about...

    Honda 1.5T Oil Choice

I'd run 10w-30 in Australia, syn 5w-30 will also do the job. And really, since it's a commuter vehicle you could get away with 0w-20 as long as you're not short tripping. Again my personal preference is to go on the thick side

    Mobil 1 HM 5w30 (2018) vs M1EP 10w30 (2017) pics included

Mobil 1 has been SN plus for years, 2010 I think. There are several threads and the statement on their website. They work directly with the OEMs and are usually setting the curve. EDIT https://mobiloil.com/en/article/why-the-mobil-advantage/mobil-1-modern-engines/lspi-protection 2ND EDIT To...
