Sure Modern synthetic oil can but the low tension oil rings can't. They start to stick...

Scoring is from too long oil changes. Change every 5000 miles and you should be good. May want to try something to free up piston rings.

FYI if you remove the wiper cowl you can get to the back ones. its tight but doable without removing the intake. Ive done it

It may be too late as the repair was accepted. I would refuse the repair first. Once you refuse repair things happen. Always call corporate first.

I am NOT saying get a new truck. I am saying the CPO processed FAILED. Get Nissan involved and get them to give Him his money BACK. Once you get Nissan involved things happen. Been there...

DONT do that! Toyota trans are sensitive. Have the FILTER and fluid change. You can't short cut this. Fluid is dirty. Filter too.

Change the filter. If its clogged it will cause problems

Looks like to me it cracked. Id have to see a new one to compare. You dont have to accept this. CALL nissan. Open a case.
