I put a TYC blower motor in my sisters car six years ago. It’s still going strong. The blower motor connector had melted around one of the pins. I went ahead and put on a new connector, replaced the resistor and replaced the blower motor.

I did another drain and fill on the 4Runner @ 55,412 miles. I refilled it with 3 quarts of Maxlife plus about 14oz of Lubegard Platinum. I pulled the check plug at 104°F and got about 12 oz out of it.

I used a bucket of it in a 2004 2500HD with a 4L80E, it’s doing fine so far. It’s been in the trans and transfer case since April of 2020. That truck doesn’t see a ton of use these days, my newer dually has taken its place for the heavy towing.

If it’s a 3/4-16 filter head, I ran a Napa 1269 on my old Tacoma for a few years before I traded it. It’s a fairly efficient filter and has a low psi bypass valve.

I put 14oz of LG Platinum in an A750F in a 2010 Tacoma with about 50k miles on it and it made a noticeable difference in shift quality. Upshifts feel quicker and firmer (more of a positive feel) than before. It has always shifted good but now it feels even better.

The Duralast axle failed last night after about 26,000 miles in service. It didn’t come apart but it pops loudly on turns. I ordered an OEM GM axle from Summit to replace it. I’m gonna see if Autozone will warranty the Duralast and I’ll keep the replacement Duralast on the shelf for a spare.

My local Napa carries Amsoil. I’ve bought this from them before.
